Unity and Devotion: Ethiopian Muslims Observe the Holy Month of Ramadan 2026

The holy month of Ramadan has officially commenced across Ethiopia, ushering in a period of fasting, prayer, and deep spiritual reflection for the country's sizeable Muslim community. This year, the observance is characterized by a strong emphasis on national unity and humanitarian support.

In the heart of the capital, the Grand Ethiopian Street Iftar at Meskel Square once again drew tens of thousands of faithful.
